triggering

extends the

logic

triggering capability

of the HP

54510A

by selecting

one

of the

inputs

as a clock and using the

other

inputs

as

qualifiers.

This is

useful

when it

is necessary to slmchronize

the displaywith

a system

clock

to detect

a system state.

example, consider

a

synchronous

memory

bus.

state trigger

mode

enables only those

events

that occur

when

reading

from

a block

of memory to

be captured

and displayed.
