Installing and Configuring Keysight IO Libraries Suite
6 If the E5810B is on a different subnet from the PC, enter
the hostname or the IP address displayed on the E5810B
front panel display.
7 Update the value in the Interface name on remote host: field,
if necessary, to match the USB SICL Interface Name displayed
on the E5810B Welcome page.
8 Select Test connection to verify the connectivity and
configuration of the remote USB interface.
Configuring a remote RS-232 serial interface
1 Launch Keysight Connection Expert from the Start menu or
the Start Screen (Windows 8).
2 Select Add interface on the Keysight Connection Expert toolbar.
3 In the Manually Add an Interface dialog box, select
Remote RS-232.
4 Select Add to display the Remote RS- 232 Serial interface
dialog box as shown in
Figure 2- 12.
