Configuring Traffic Generation during VoIP Testing
1 If the FrameScope Pro is equipped with Option N2620A-041
(Auxiliary Port), the VoIP on the Aux-Port Settings screen
will be available after the SIP screen (refer to “Settings Setup
for SIP Voice Test” on page 95). Press Next on the SIP screen
to configure the VoIP on Aux-Port for the VoIP SIP test.
If the VoIP on Aux-Port panel options are not selected, the
Auxiliary port on the top of the FrameScope Pro is not used.
Instead, either the SFP or RJ45 test port on the right side of
the FrameScope Pro is used for the VoIP SIP testing. In this
case, pressing OK will complete the VoIP test setup.
NOTE
You can configure whether to use the SFP optical interface or RJ45
interface for Gigabit Ethernet connections from the Test Port Settings.
NOTE
The VoIP call from the Auxiliary port does not share the background traffic
IP QoS tagging.
