MXIbus-5 : Disable the VMEbus Timeout on Other Modules (VME BTO)

The VXI-MXI module must do the VMEbus timeout on all mainframes.

You MUST disable the VME BTO on any other device in your system. The

VME BTO must be disabled on the following:

• Agilent E1406A Command Module

• Agilent RADI-EPC7 Embedded Computer

NOTE You must disable the VMEbus timeout on any VXI module used in the

VXI-MXI system. Any module with the VME BTO enabled will not allow the

system to be configurable. Only the VXI-MXI module in each mainframe

can have the VME BTO enabled.You do not have to disable the VMEbus

timeout on the Agilent V743/64 and V743/100 embedded controllers.
