manual.

Dark Current Test

Perform the Dark Current test to determine the leakage current

from each optical diode. This leakage current may cause non-

linearity or excessive noise at specific wavelengths.

When starting the test, the slit 1 nm assembly is moved to the

dark position. At the end of the dark Current test, the resulting

leakage current is measured and graphically displayed for each

diode. Results are also listed in the maintenance audit trail:
