manual.

Cell Test

Perform the Cell test to check whether the flow cell window is

clean.

The deuterium and tungsten lamps intensity is measured over

the detector wavelength range with the flow cell installed and

with the flow cell removed.

The test should be done with water in the flow cell.

When starting the test, the 1 nm slit is moved into the light path

and the gain is set to zero. The resulting intensity ratio

represents the amount of light absorbed by the flow cell. It is

displayed at screen and also listed in the maintenance audit trail:
